Benidorm’s beaches will be patrolled by two new quads. Two new All Terrain Vehicles have been incorporated into the Local Police fleet to enhance surveillance in rural leisure areas and on the coastlines, as needed. Tony Pérez, the mayor, and the councillors for Citizen Security and Beaches, Jesús Carrobles and Mónica Gómez, were present at Levante Beach on Wednesday to unveil the two new vehicles.
According to City Hall, the two new vehicles are currently operational and will execute their initial duties during the forthcoming camping event for the city’s club groups next week and the arrival of Easter.

The City Council has acquired Loncin brand Xwolf 700s, which are equipped with sophisticated technology, uncompromising reliability, and 4×4 capability. The engine is distinguished by its remarkable reliability and performance, and both quads are outfitted with the most advanced features. They are equipped with complete LED headlights, roof racks that can support up to 50 kilos, an electric winch with a towing capacity of over 450 kilos, and an additional roof rack that can support up to 90 kilos.
Each vehicle is capable of transporting a maximum of 800 kilogrammes. They are capable of travelling up to 300 kilometres due to their 25-liter fuel capacity. They are capable of producing 47 horsepower at 5,500 revolutions per minute (rpm) with a displacement of 686 cubic centimetres. Additionally, they weigh 385 kilogrammes and feature EPS power steering.
Yesterday, Wednesday April 16th, Toni Pérez underscored that the two quads are “a new tool of maximum capacity and power for supervising the city’s beaches.”
The mayor also underscored that the two new vehicles “are incorporated into the existing sea and land resources to enhance the peace of mind of beaches that are in exceptional health and already provide our visitors with a wonderful appearance in terms of cleanliness, appearance, and services.”
